Illustration Friday: Entangled
I'm not sure it is all the cold medicine I've taken in the past week or what, but this is how I'm answering this week's Illustration Friday challenge.
In the 5th grade I stared a sketchbook dedicated to a cast of characters I invented. One of the main characters was named Agnes. She had an impossibly huge beehive hairdo, was terribly grouchy, a nose like a hot dog, eyes like Gene Wilder, and smoked lots of cigarettes. I was obsessed with drawing beehive hairdos - I think I still kind of am. I'm thinking of this lady as an evolution of Agnes, post nose-job and with a lot of crap entangled in her 'do.

At first I thought that thing in her hair was an outhouse. Good for a chuckle. I promise never to dye my hair blue.
There just isn't enough "beehive" artwork out there. I laughed out loud at this one. Nice goin'.
I love this. Her face, it's like she doesn't even give a damn - and the pie looks super tasty.
Hysterical! Don't you love when the characters from the past come back? Really like your drawing style!
I remember Agnes and have to say she seems to have aged quite well!
She looks like she ‘don’t take no c***’ (except in her hair). Wonderful character work.
Great illustration and I love the story about Agnes!
